Out On A Limb Rustic Furniture features unique furniture designed and constructed by  Elizabeth Clarke - Shaw. All of the items are one-of-a kind and are hand-crafted using traditional peg-in-hole (mortise and tenon) joints. Each piece emerges with an individual personality that will bring the owner many years of visual pleasure and practical use.

Artist's Statement

I work primarily with maple, cherry and walnut. I let the materials suggest the design, and spend many hours "communing" with the branches and "live-edge" slabs that I collect.
